Since I was diagnosed with gout, I am a vegitarian. I still cherish all kind of dairy, especially yogurt and any kind of cheeze. I have found many plant foods that I like. One of my favorite dishes is steamed brussel sprouts with butter. Creamed spinach is one of my favorites. I love corn, garden tomatoes, cabage, artichoke, olives and mushrooms. I do not miss meat at all. I realized that meats without spices, seasoning, sauces and salt, have NO flavor at all. I feel 10 years young since giving up meats.
Sliced off some very thin bits from the massive hunk of beef I roasted last night, a kaiser roll, spicy horseradish sauce, a thick slice of tomato and slice of Emmentaler cheese.
