ThorSon's milkshake brings all the PF girls to the yard - Volcaniclastic
RIP
I have never been across the way
Seen the desert and the birds
You cut your hair short
Like a shush to an insult
The world had been yelling
Since the day you were born
Revolting with anger
While it smiled like it was cute
That everything was shit.

I don't know if I'd eat any of the new Hostess things, I've already mourned and moved on.
Trust is knowing someone or something well enough to have a good idea of their motivations and character, for good or for ill. People often say trust when they mean faith.
So I decided to make my own special trail mix for when I need some major energy at work. By the time 8pm rolls around, I'm tanking on sugar. And I don't want to buy mix because it's expensive and has things I don't want. So I went to the Mexican market and found they have nuts in bins way cheaper then Whole Foods.
My special mix:
Chili lemon peanuts
smoked almonds
walnut halves
pepitas *pumpkin seeds
dried cranberries
chocolate covered raisins
shredded coconut
I mixed the whole thing in a tupperware container with a cup scooper. I can then place servings in a ziplocked baggy and take to work. I think I might have spent $10. But it's exactly what I want and I have about a week and a half worth. And a healthy snack instead of chips or candy.
Yesterday, my neighbor had a get together. She made baked ziti, but with store bought sauce and off-brand cheese. I don't even want to know the sodium content. It tasted good, but not quite "real" to this Jersey guinea!

Can you hear me, Major Tom? I think I love you.

That's what I do too. I get a couple things from the dollar store--dried bananas, sunflower seeds, yogurt raisins, dark chocolate dried cherries, dried cranberries, chili lime peanuts and pumpkin seeds and mix 'em up. I do "kid mix" the same way--chex mix, popcorn, pretzels, goldfish, animal cookies, and one small bag of bugles (because they are fun). I put both of them in gallon ice cream buckets, and they last the four of us 2 weeks or so.
