Every moment of a life is a horrible tragedy, a slapstick comedy, dark nihilism, golden illumination, or nothing at all; depending on how we write the story we tell ourselves.
There once was a man who said though,
It seems that I know that I know,
What I'd like to see,
Is the I that knows me,
When I know that I know that I know.

Welcome.

Okay, well...I never really left. But I've just come home from traveling in Thailand and India for the last three months, and considering I've had so little internet time, I know my presence has been pretty lacklustre.
So yes. I survived, albeit quite a bit broker, I've got a wicked tan, and a general tendency to see humanity in a different light after experiencing the best and worst of Asia. It's a bit of a readjustment period coming back, and I've been visiting my family for the last two weeks to try and readjust. Tomorrow, I head back home to my new little mountain town in the north, and I get the pleasure of trying to sort my new life out, with my new roommate, and my new town. ...and I get to look for a job, because my company laid me off the day I got back from India. Jerks.
I was keeping up with your blog a bit...sounds like an interesting time! But a bummer with the job...we've had that happen a few times over the past year or so--hopefully they will call you back or you'll find something better soon!
