RIP
I have never been across the way
Seen the desert and the birds
You cut your hair short
Like a shush to an insult
The world had been yelling
Since the day you were born
Revolting with anger
While it smiled like it was cute
That everything was shit.

Oh very few "PLANS" as yet, but since I don't want any stupid, over the top, white wedding I think I'm going to stay pretty mellow about the whole affair. X

I wondered if he could ever understand that it was a blessing, not a sin, to be graced with more than one love.
It could be complicated; of course it could be complicated. And it opened one up to the possibility of more pain and loss.
Still, it was a blessing I would never relinquish. Love, genuine love, was always a cause for joy.

Hi I came on this site to try and find out more about Irish Pre-Christian beliefs. I was hoping for a suggestion on a good book to get me at least started.
what would be ideal is a sort of compendium on evidence on Pre-Christian Irish beliefs. Just the historic & archeological evidence. without any fancy flare or mystic to try and get "converted" into Paganism.
I've had a lot of trouble finding plain facts. it seems to be that much of the information I've come across has been a mix of facts with lots of imagination thrown in to fill in the gaps.
if anyone on here started out their journey in a similer outlook to me and believe you've got a good suggestion. please let me know!
New to the forums. What I've seen so far has been really appealing and the next thing I knew, I was drawn in so much that I found myself joining. It should be nice sharing and talking with others with similar beliefs and interests as myself.
Absolutely wonderful to have you back! Weren't you starting uni last September? Or am I confused? Either way, I hope your absence means life has been jam packed with adventure for you, the good kind of course!
夕方に急なにわか雨は「夕立」と呼ばれるなら、なぜ朝ににわか雨は「朝立ち」と呼ばれないの? ^^If a sudden rain shower in the evening is referred to as an 'evening stand', then why isn't a shower in the morning called 'morning stand'?
I have to say, that's the BEST way I've ever heard of expressing that. I think it's because I sometimes hear "Pagan Atheist" or "Atheistic Pagan" from some people (not everyone, just some people) and I think it sounds like they are atheists who have an emotional attachment to the Paganism they have grown to love. I think that there have been times in my life when I've felt I could be an atheist, but I have a frightened reaction because I wouldn't want to lose what Paganism gives me.
Aaaaanyway...
I missed you! I was thinking of you the other day when I was looking at Jack's embroidered pillow
Life itself was a lightsaber in his hands; even in the face of treachery and death and hopes gone cold, he burned like a candle in the darkness. Like a star shining in the black eternity of space.

"But those men who know anything at all about the Light also know that there is a fierceness to its power, like the bare sword of the law, or the white burning of the sun." Suddenly his voice sounded to Will very strong, and very Welsh. "At the very heart, that is. Other things, like humanity, and mercy, and charity, that most good men hold more precious than all else, they do not come first for the Light. Oh, sometimes they are there; often, indeed. But in the very long run the concern of you people is with the absolute good, ahead of all else..."

"You come from the Lord Adam and the Lady Eve", said Aslan. "And that is both honour enough to erect the head of the poorest beggar, and shame enough to bow the shoulders of the greatest emperor on earth; be content."
Welcome back By the way, love the way your hair looks in that pic.
"Turn, and look in the mirror. What do you see?" Her own brown eyes stared back at her until she was nothing but a blur.
"I see you. Red lipstick spread perfectly over your lush mouth, brown eyes that hold centuries upon centuries of secrets. A face made to entice even the most celibate of men and women alike. A red dress that sways and moves with your body, making you a temptation like no other."
