Medusa's Quesion du jour (the year of the horse edition!)
Trust is knowing someone or something well enough to have a good idea of their motivations and character, for good or for ill. People often say trust when they mean faith.
Nicknames I was squeaky, cos I had a high pitched, loud voice that never stopped in primary school, then sasquatch, cos sasha, then in boarding school I got sushi, because, as one girls said "I cant remember your name, and I dont like sushi either" and it stuck. Had a go at Ando at uni. Then ive kinda got 'gattling' here from my english teacher friend, cos I go off like a gattling gun!

RIP
I have never been across the way
Seen the desert and the birds
You cut your hair short
Like a shush to an insult
The world had been yelling
Since the day you were born
Revolting with anger
While it smiled like it was cute
That everything was shit.
- J. Wylder
You know... I'm not really sure that I have a most beautiful sound. There are lots of things I like the sound of... but I'm just not an aural enough person to pick out one.
I really like the sound of wooden flutes. I think they're very beautiful. Also, rainforest sounds. I love my daughter cooing, though I think that's as much subconscious as conscious. She's cooing? Yay, she's happy and I can get something done.
We are what we are. Nothing more, nothing less. There is good and evil among every kind of people. It's the evil among us who rule now. -Anne Bishop, Daughter of the Blood
I wondered if he could ever understand that it was a blessing, not a sin, to be graced with more than one love.
It could be complicated; of course it could be complicated. And it opened one up to the possibility of more pain and loss.
Still, it was a blessing I would never relinquish. Love, genuine love, was always a cause for joy.
-Jacqueline Carey, Naamah's Curse
This is contingent upon many things. Often I seek silence, sometimes the sound of a brook is the best, rain on a tin roof, a cat's purr, wind through leaves, the crackle of a fire, the hum of a bumble bee, a dove's coo, tree frogs singing, blah blah blah. I can't think of a single desired sound that comes from anything electric or engine driven.
