    Hi from New York!

My name is Jenn. I'm an eclectic pagan and tarot enthusiast. Usually a bit of a lurker on message boards, I have suddenly found myself with a lot of free time on my hands due to the unfortunate experience of my son being ill. I am on FMLA leave from work, and the two of us are languishing here at home while we await his surgery date in mid July. I figured this was a good time to actually join in and participate with like minded and non like minded folk. I am fascinated by all religions and points of view! And I admit to being a bit stir crazy. It's odd to go from crazy busy and hectic to such a slow pace. I usually work second shift and am very much a night owl, and I look forward to participating here a bit

        Snooping is always fun.

Please leave your sanity at the front desk, you won't be needing it here. :cthulhu:
Life itself was a lightsaber in his hands; even in the face of treachery and death and hopes gone cold, he burned like a candle in the darkness. Like a star shining in the black eternity of space.

        Yoda: Dark Rendezvous

"But those men who know anything at all about the Light also know that there is a fierceness to its power, like the bare sword of the law, or the white burning of the sun." Suddenly his voice sounded to Will very strong, and very Welsh. "At the very heart, that is. Other things, like humanity, and mercy, and charity, that most good men hold more precious than all else, they do not come first for the Light. Oh, sometimes they are there; often, indeed. But in the very long run the concern of you people is with the absolute good, ahead of all else..."

John Rowlands, The Grey King by Susan Cooper

"You come from the Lord Adam and the Lady Eve", said Aslan. "And that is both honour enough to erect the head of the poorest beggar, and shame enough to bow the shoulders of the greatest emperor on earth; be content."

Aslan, Prince Caspian by CS Lewis

Hello fellow New Yorker. I hope you enjoy your stay in our lovely family we have here
They moaned and squealed, and pressed their snouts to the earth. We are sorry, we are sorry.
Sorry you were caught, I said. Sorry that you thought I was weak, but you were wrong.
