Props to you for being vegan; I tried being vegan for like a week and I just love cheese too much to give it up
I'm vegetarian myself (though my dad calls me a junkfoodatarian).

Don't idealize us too much. The site is made up of human beings. There will always be judgement somewhere when humans are involved. We've got a good crowd though and most of the judgement will not be purely on religious grounds, it will also generally be expressed with some degree of civility.
