I read a long thing on fb about how we should live in the moment and not form attachments, and how that's the key to happiness, because nothing's really real, etc. My aunt goes in for this kind of thinking. It seems to me to be a parallel to the Christian concept of sin and guilt - how you aren't supposed to enjoy physical things if you are spiritual, etc. However.....time has shown that human nature goes against that. And now, about the new kind of thinking - everybody is always trying to preserve everything today! Everyone has a camera with them at all times now and is constantly taking pictures/video. We keep recipies, we play the same music over and over. We ARE attached. It's also human nature. Why do people fight it so much?
