But they were doughnuts of darkness. Evil damned doughnuts, tainted by the spawn of darkness.... Which could obviously only be redeemed by passing through the fiery inferno of my digestive tract.

So, the MIL has no longer been harassing us about the religion of our children (mostly in the form of "are we ever going to baptize our children" and "where are you taking them to church"...the answer of which is "when they are cognizant enough to make an educated decision and desire it for themselves" and "we go to UU services"). She's been the diocesan RE director for nearly a year now (after spending 6 months at a time in Nicaragua for the better part of 5 years living in a convent as a missionary), which means she now has a couple hundred kids she gets to make Catholic to make up for ours.
Over the next two weeks I have 6 shifts of fish. It will be nice to have a sort of constant station. I enjoy the floating around but I'm ready to see if I'm as good when its constantly mine. Also I start my new part time job on Monday at Teavana. No more stressing about money!!!

I gave away a large piece of furniture today. A lovely couple who needed it collected it, I have more space in my living room and I own one less thing. It makes me happy.
We're packing up and moving soon. These last couple days with my roommates who have become closer than my own family, I will cherish for a long time. They make me happy.

For the Yule was upon them, the Yule; and they quaffed from the skulls of the slain,
And shouted loud oaths in hoarse wit, and long quaffing swore laughing again.

Omg. My frugal spidy senses were tingling today! I stopped by the Neighborhood Walmart grocery store after work. I see they have the bags of Orchard halved walnuts. Now usually a bag goes for $4.98. I splurge every now and then because they are good for my heart and they are like my potato chips. I love the crunch and the creaminess of them.
I see a sign. $1.00. I take the bag to the lady to verify. Yup. ONE DOLLAR! I check the exp date. Not till August.
