NyQuil aint no joke. I attempted to get some sleep (yesterday I woke up for work at 6 am. Didn't sleep till 1am) by taking the last in the bottle of NyQuil. Passed out. Woke up at 10 am. Watched news for 20 minutes. Fell back to sleep. Woke up at 4 pm.
Time for a random one, because I'm feeling random.
I have never been banned from a forum in the past, but I have been driven out of one by baseless warnings (politics - I referred a friend to the forum who couldn't practice good forum etiquette, and thus received the blame when he acted out and named me).
Also, I left another due to another politics-related situation that got more ridiculous than I tolerate on an online medium. This one I was one of the leaders of a Slavic sub-section and the other leader became petty and jealous, made several complaints, picked up a couple of his friends to join his complaints, and I left shortly thereafter. I only wanted to help, and people respond with hostility. When I'm not getting paid, no online responsibility is worth that kind of drama.
Point: people can suck. Especially when they can't learn how to play well with others. Even if it would mean mutual gain.
I once was put into a little holding cell on this very forum! Me and another member FW got in trouble. So we were put in time out for a while. It was quite weird.
I bet you didn't know there was such a place here, huh?

We have holding cells?! Interesting... *ponders such a dungeon*
I'm not sure I can picture you getting in that kind of trouble. :P

I didn't even know there was such a place... wonders off to peer around corners.
We are what we are. Nothing more, nothing less. There is good and evil among every kind of people. It's the evil among us who rule now. -Anne Bishop, Daughter of the Blood
I wondered if he could ever understand that it was a blessing, not a sin, to be graced with more than one love.
It could be complicated; of course it could be complicated. And it opened one up to the possibility of more pain and loss.
Still, it was a blessing I would never relinquish. Love, genuine love, was always a cause for joy.

We have a subforum that was originally designed for it (I think) but I don't know if the relevant usergroup to confine someone there exists atm. I'm pretty sure Medusa was tossed into Daycare pre-Crash.
Life itself was a lightsaber in his hands; even in the face of treachery and death and hopes gone cold, he burned like a candle in the darkness. Like a star shining in the black eternity of space.
Yoda: Dark Rendezvous
"But those men who know anything at all about the Light also know that there is a fierceness to its power, like the bare sword of the law, or the white burning of the sun." Suddenly his voice sounded to Will very strong, and very Welsh. "At the very heart, that is. Other things, like humanity, and mercy, and charity, that most good men hold more precious than all else, they do not come first for the Light. Oh, sometimes they are there; often, indeed. But in the very long run the concern of you people is with the absolute good, ahead of all else..."
John Rowlands, The Grey King by Susan Cooper
"You come from the Lord Adam and the Lady Eve", said Aslan. "And that is both honour enough to erect the head of the poorest beggar, and shame enough to bow the shoulders of the greatest emperor on earth; be content."

I confess I'm addicted to these youtube channels where they review mre food packages from around the world and during different years. Seriously. It's almost like asr to me. I like just hearing them in the background while I play bubble shooter before bed.
Confession - I wish I wasn't addicted to FB, because it really makes me see the absolute worst side of people I consider family and friends and it brings out the worst in me. I really want to delete my account.

I refuse to have any single douche on my fb page. I picked them all. And they all are pretty nifty folks. You can just delete or actually stop seeing posts from certain people. It's all self regulated.
