No one laughs at my jokes in the forum anymore. I'm gonna cry.
I still find you highly amusing. :cthulhu:
Life itself was a lightsaber in his hands; even in the face of treachery and death and hopes gone cold, he burned like a candle in the darkness. Like a star shining in the black eternity of space.
Yoda: Dark Rendezvous
"But those men who know anything at all about the Light also know that there is a fierceness to its power, like the bare sword of the law, or the white burning of the sun." Suddenly his voice sounded to Will very strong, and very Welsh. "At the very heart, that is. Other things, like humanity, and mercy, and charity, that most good men hold more precious than all else, they do not come first for the Light. Oh, sometimes they are there; often, indeed. But in the very long run the concern of you people is with the absolute good, ahead of all else..."
John Rowlands, The Grey King by Susan Cooper
"You come from the Lord Adam and the Lady Eve", said Aslan. "And that is both honour enough to erect the head of the poorest beggar, and shame enough to bow the shoulders of the greatest emperor on earth; be content."

RIP
I have never been across the way
Seen the desert and the birds
You cut your hair short
Like a shush to an insult
The world had been yelling
Since the day you were born
Revolting with anger
While it smiled like it was cute
That everything was shit.

There are people who don't like pizza? I know there are people who CAN'T eat pizza, but I refuse to believe there are people in this world who would look at a well made pizza and say "meh."
Trust is knowing someone or something well enough to have a good idea of their motivations and character, for good or for ill. People often say trust when they mean faith.
I had a dream I was going to bike to work, but the trip was 70km, and I had left at 7:30am (I start work at 9). And I was really stressed, because I didn't think I could make it to work in an hour and a half, and I kept having issues with my bike, and somebody put these sticky insoles in my shoes that were full of hash, and I was getting high from them and it was making me sick. So I got to the halfway point, because for some reason, the road wasn't straight, and it was more like a V, and I got to the tip of the V, and filled up on food and water, and I met up with Masked and we ended up going on date. But I was wearing my motorcycle helmet and not my biking helmet, and I couldn't take it off for some reason, so we cuddled on a couch in the forest and watched a movie, until someone came and interrupted us to tell me that I had better get to work, and then when I arrived at work, my bike disappeared and I realized I had no way home, and that I was going to have to live at work forever.

And then I woke up.
1) Living at work, forever when one is in retail? Blegh, tell your brain that self-inflicted hell is forbidden. Putting brains through hell is my job and I don't like poachers.
2) Which movie?

I'm one of those people. 4 years of having pizza between 2 and 4 times a month, and then a husband who is obsessed with pizza and tries to convince me to get it 3x a week has left its damage.

I'm with Ljubezen. My family got this crappy delivery pizza multiple times a week for months and now I can't stand it. There's basically one kind of pizza I like and it's a frozen one from the local supermarket chain I've eaten since I was a kid. Delivery pizza ranges from meh to No and even homemade pizza is only marginally better. Then again I never was crazy about it before, so much grease.

We've been damaged by too much of an okay thing.
They moaned and squealed, and pressed their snouts to the earth. We are sorry, we are sorry.
Sorry you were caught, I said. Sorry that you thought I was weak, but you were wrong.

I've witnessed such sadness. But from another angle, actually. Someone that worked at a 'za joint and got so sick of the smell, no chance in hell of getting them to eat any 'za, whatsoever.
If you love pizza, do NOT start working at a pizza joint.

2) Which movie?
1) My brain has been doing all kinds of crazy to me lately. But that's because I'm actually losing it during my waking hours.
2) That's your question? Your one questions is 'which movie'? How about, "Why was there a couch and a television in the middle of the woods? Where was the power outlet? Why was I in a motorcycle helmet? What happened to my bicycle? Why were we on a date? Where has all the rum gone?"
