Life itself was a lightsaber in his hands; even in the face of treachery and death and hopes gone cold, he burned like a candle in the darkness. Like a star shining in the black eternity of space.
Yoda: Dark Rendezvous
"But those men who know anything at all about the Light also know that there is a fierceness to its power, like the bare sword of the law, or the white burning of the sun." Suddenly his voice sounded to Will very strong, and very Welsh. "At the very heart, that is. Other things, like humanity, and mercy, and charity, that most good men hold more precious than all else, they do not come first for the Light. Oh, sometimes they are there; often, indeed. But in the very long run the concern of you people is with the absolute good, ahead of all else..."
John Rowlands, The Grey King by Susan Cooper
"You come from the Lord Adam and the Lady Eve", said Aslan. "And that is both honour enough to erect the head of the poorest beggar, and shame enough to bow the shoulders of the greatest emperor on earth; be content."
I have not quite reached this peak of perfect surveillance...

I'm thinking about ancestral beliefs again. Ive discovered where my Swedish grandfather is from (Helsingborg), and that my Swiss side lived in one of the original 3 cantons of Switzerland. So thats cool.
I'm thinking its not fair that Switzerland plays Argentina. Those are the two teams I picked for the World Cup, and now theyre playing of against each other
I'm thinking that I agree with Rae'ya. Being on this side of the world can suck. Lack of cliff hangers is good, but when stuff gets deleted its frustrating to miss. I always feel more elite when I see the before, during and afters of an exciting turn of events.
I'm thinking this movie has Hugh Jackman in it. Awesome.
I'm sending my thoughts to Nightingale.

RIP
I have never been across the way
Seen the desert and the birds
You cut your hair short
Like a shush to an insult
The world had been yelling
Since the day you were born
Revolting with anger
While it smiled like it was cute
That everything was shit.

I'm thinking that one of the things I look forward to the most each day is coming here.
Can I second this?
We are what we are. Nothing more, nothing less. There is good and evil among every kind of people. It's the evil among us who rule now. -Anne Bishop, Daughter of the Blood
I wondered if he could ever understand that it was a blessing, not a sin, to be graced with more than one love.
It could be complicated; of course it could be complicated. And it opened one up to the possibility of more pain and loss.
Still, it was a blessing I would never relinquish. Love, genuine love, was always a cause for joy.

I'm wondering why hubby always looks at me right after he farts. Do I need to approve? Do I need to laugh every time? I'm puzzled.

Why am I not seeing the thread title above your text..? It throws me off.
I really need to get to cleaning... I left the chat room a couple hours ago intending to clean my house and I still haven't got off the computer. Time to get busy.

I'm starting to think I have a predisposition to razor burn. It's also very likely I need to change the blade more often but they're so expensive.
They moaned and squealed, and pressed their snouts to the earth. We are sorry, we are sorry.
Sorry you were caught, I said. Sorry that you thought I was weak, but you were wrong.

Just got back from the Pride Parade in SF. Lots of fun, lots of naked people who made me slightly uncomfortable, lots of driving. My buddy and I also got a chance to snap this picture with two particularly fabulous members of the event. fabtrannies.jpg
