ThorSon's milkshake brings all the PF girls to the yard - Volcaniclastic
RIP
I have never been across the way
Seen the desert and the birds
You cut your hair short
Like a shush to an insult
The world had been yelling
Since the day you were born
Revolting with anger
While it smiled like it was cute
That everything was shit.

Re: What Are You Thinking About?
I actually witnessed a van take off from a gas station with the nozzle and hose firmly attached to the van's gas tank.
Then I witnessed the owner attempt to chase him down after we informed him of said sight.
Then I witnessed the popo chase after the owner who was chasing after the van with said gas nozzle and hose firmly attached to the van.

From Britain's shore
Wolfe the dauntless hero came
And planted firm Britannia's flag
On Canada's fair domain.
Here may it wave,
Our boast, our pride
And joined in love together,
The thistle, shamrock, rose entwined,

Mid- to southen Illinois, southeastern Iowa, northeastern Missouri, or some place else, completely.
Towns and cities of no more than about two thousand people, yet with certain services and outlets, in town, or larger communities with a full range of medical, veterinary and commercial choices.
Seclusion and isolation within a bustling mini-metropolis...

Time and FoodLife itself was a lightsaber in his hands; even in the face of treachery and death and hopes gone cold, he burned like a candle in the darkness. Like a star shining in the black eternity of space.
Yoda: Dark Rendezvous
"But those men who know anything at all about the Light also know that there is a fierceness to its power, like the bare sword of the law, or the white burning of the sun." Suddenly his voice sounded to Will very strong, and very Welsh. "At the very heart, that is. Other things, like humanity, and mercy, and charity, that most good men hold more precious than all else, they do not come first for the Light. Oh, sometimes they are there; often, indeed. But in the very long run the concern of you people is with the absolute good, ahead of all else..."

Re: What Are You Thinking About?
I'm not taking sides over this whole Ferguson, Missouri situation, but I am curious about the protestors. Don't any of those people have jobs they need to be at? I'm mean seriously, there seems to be 24-7 protests going on.
It sucks that someone died, but this isn't the first time something like this has happened (and it won't be the last). It just seems like people are going a little psychotic over it.
I'm glad I don't live anywhere near the area. I'd be afraid to leave my house with the way so many people are acting nuts right now.

Re: What Are You Thinking About?
If it keeps up, someone else might wind up dead. And it might be because of these people protesting and acting out so much. They keep protesting so much because they feel someone was wrongfully shot and killed, but if they don't calm down, they may wind up hurting/killing an innocent person as well because so many are losing their heads.
I understand the right to not be killed, but still. Everyone needs to step back, take a deep breath, and start thinking rationally again.

Also, I'm a little curious about them talking about having video of this kid robbing a convenience store before the officer stopped him. Maybe he wasn't such an angel as his family and friends have made him out to be. That of course doesn't justify him being killed. However, to me personally, that does cause me to really wonder about the kid's character and how he really acted when he was stopped. If he did just commit a robbery, he may have very well acted in an aggressive, threatening manner towards the officer, thinking the officer was stopping him because of the crime he had just committed.
