Sticky: Re: Whatcha thinking about now? (v2)

Yup. Chicken pox vaccine is fairly recent, at least here. There is even a South Park episode about Chicken Pox parties, where parents would intentionally expose their kids to chicken pox because it...

Re: Kobe Bryant - Guilty of Rape (or not)?

Consider the possibility in the MJ case that the victims were children at the time. That their parents/guardians considered it acceptable for them to travel and have unsupervised sleepovers with an...

Re: The Rant Thread (v 1.2)

The price for reporting is brutal, and there is little guaranty that there is a conviction. I don't mean financial cost, although that can be a reality. It is the accusations of lying, the process of...

I am going to suggest that this thread is moving into the area of personal attack; maybe we should tone down the assumptions about others before we derail (not that anyone involved needs me to...

    Hey Anubisa-
Just sending warm wishes your way. I had to quit a job this week and am feeling down on myself as well. I know it was right, but boy it fees yucky. I hope you get your spark back soon.

My mom's phone message says " We must be outside", so I think I may have a habit of saying "You must be outside" when I leave a message. I didn't even realize until I read your post.

    I do think...

It has been a few days and I hope you are feeling a little better about your decision. It sounds like you have a solid plan to stay part of the family culture during this time, which is the important...

    Shahaku-
It sounds like you have worked out a good plan. Hard, but good. You can do all kinds of things to keep up with the 5 year old. Make games and calendars for her to keep track of the plan....

Re: They are willing to destroy this country

If memory serves here, this process is a long one. I suspect we will be almost out of this term before we reach a conclusion. So we would end up with a very brief Pelosi presidency if they were both...

There is an awful lot of malicious misleading content on the internet about members of certain groups. I have certainly seen blatant lies about Muslims before. I would also verify before...

I have never before crossed my fingers for someone that there will be a small rash of deaths in their area. It is a conundrum. I hope the right thing happens. It would be good to have...

Thanks, I will give it a try. I stirred lots, but no luck. I will try heating it- I was using cold almond milk. It thickened a little, but over days. It tasted fine though.

I thought it really stepped up in the season 2. The first season was good enough, but I think nostalgia carried me through. Themes and story lines got tighter in season 2. Although I'm not sure that...
