Sticky: Re: Whatcha thinking about now? (v2)

It has been a few days and I hope you are feeling a little better about your decision. It sounds like you have a solid plan to stay part of the family culture during this time, which is the important...

    Shahaku-
It sounds like you have worked out a good plan. Hard, but good. You can do all kinds of things to keep up with the 5 year old. Make games and calendars for her to keep track of the plan....

Re: They are willing to destroy this country

If memory serves here, this process is a long one. I suspect we will be almost out of this term before we reach a conclusion. So we would end up with a very brief Pelosi presidency if they were both...

    BH-

There is an awful lot of malicious misleading content on the internet about members of certain groups. I have certainly seen blatant lies about Muslims before. I would also verify before...

I have never before crossed my fingers for someone that there will be a small rash of deaths in their area. It is a conundrum. I hope the right thing happens. It would be good to have...

I have an embarrassing number. Knock wood. Don't tempt fate. Salt over the shoulder if I spill it. One time we were on a long drive and for reasons that I still do not understand we kept hitting...

Thanks, I will give it a try. I stirred lots, but no luck. I will try heating it- I was using cold almond milk. It thickened a little, but over days. It tasted fine though.

    Sticky: Re: Whatcha Watchin'?

I thought it really stepped up in the season 2. The first season was good enough, but I think nostalgia carried me through. Themes and story lines got tighter in season 2. Although I'm not sure that...

    Re: Irrational Parental Fears

I think that is where I fall on my fears about that one, also taken to the point of fear that in new baby exhaustion I might smother the baby in a sort of aggressive attempt to comfort and quiet it....

The idea of keto is to create a constant state of ketosis, which is supposed to change the way you burn calories/fat. It is high proteiin, but also specifically high fat, and minimal carbs- just...

Yeah, we joke about a poltergeist because it has always felt like the house doesn't want us here. Weird noises, weird electrical stuff, when we try and fix it up, things go awry-paint won't stick,...

So. A couple of hours ago I found a watch on one of our bookshelves. This seems strange, because it is my bookshelf, and I have recently taken books off to share with my daughter, and put one on a...

I've been boycotting Chik-Fil-A for a long time. Shame, because it is a decent product for fast food, and they give out books in their kid meals.
