Lots of depression around lately. It is definitely a time to be vigilant about taking care of our mental health.

    Hi Anubisa!
I just started a physical job from pretty sedentary as well. It still hurts, but I think maybe I am noticing improvement. Fortunately, the part that hurts most is supposed to be...

This is terrifying. Most of the kids will be okay, but schools are incubators for disease, and many of the kids will have relatives who are high risk.

I'm sorry for your loss. It seems perfectly normal for the loss of your infant nephew to be painful. What a terrible shock!
  5. Re: I'm Going Through A Lot Of Baggage Right Now

    Hey Bartman-

You don't need to apologize. I was trying to support you and give you some food for thought, but I was in quite the mood when I wrote that post. I'm not really surprised that you may...

Wow! 9 and a half months! The time, it flies! Also, if I recall, a super fun baby age.

    Re: Easter

Did anyone else notice that much of the Easter stuff went almost as fast as toilet paper. Not quite, but it was really sparse around here. We did have the little Cadbury eggs though, so that was...

    Hey BH,

I don't have the answer to reconciling faith with death. I do want to point out that no one gets to escape death indefinitely. Your friend's mother's death was not about your faith alone....

Yup. Chicken pox vaccine is fairly recent, at least here. There is even a South Park episode about Chicken Pox parties, where parents would intentionally expose their kids to chicken pox because it...

Re: The Rant Thread (v 1.2)

The price for reporting is brutal, and there is little guaranty that there is a conviction. I don't mean financial cost, although that can be a reality. It is the accusations of lying, the process of...

I am going to suggest that this thread is moving into the area of personal attack; maybe we should tone down the assumptions about others before we derail (not that anyone involved needs me to...

    Hey Anubisa-
Just sending warm wishes your way. I had to quit a job this week and am feeling down on myself as well. I know it was right, but boy it fees yucky. I hope you get your spark back soon.

My mom's phone message says " We must be outside", so I think I may have a habit of saying "You must be outside" when I leave a message. I didn't even realize until I read your post.
