    Possibly NSFW - Sex expo. OK or Not Ok?

    A big "sex and porn" expo was held in Dallas, Texas this month. It caused (of course!) some controversy.

    Here are two different viewpoints, one anti, one pro:

    I have an actual knowledgeable opinion on this. I've actually been to this expo in Los Angeles.

    I had a blast! First I saw some cool male porn dudes that I actually recognized from their movies. Peter North, for one. Second, I ate lunch in the cafeteria with a bunch of strippers in bikinis. All of us eating hot dogs and having a great time. Third, I saw my best friend's neighbors there. They are an older couple who sell bondage gear and run a mail order business out of their little home. Such a lovely couple.

    The end.

    Yup. I know. Not as titillating as you wanted it to be. It was pretty much an indoor fair with foods and happy people.

      Can't trip cause I have been to the Leather fair in SF,and that gets way trippy way fast...assless chaps everywhere,but really good concession food,and beer from venders too,and did I mention the musical acts playing too..

          I don't see myself going to one - I'm shy and like to keep some stuff private - but, really?

          What's wrong with adult play between consenting adults? Let it out into the open, have fun, eat hotdogs with strippers (). It's all soooo very OK.

                Everything I know about Texas tells me that's probably not the place for an event like that. But, I guess everywhere has its seedy (read: fun) underbelly, so why not. No moral objections here.
