Honestly I think they do this just to get some attention.

Rogue planet about to smash into Earth, claim conspiracy theorists.

      Story here.

I guess NK is just a flash in the pan,and THIS is the BIG story. With the way things have been going, this just seems to fit the pattern.

The planet is BTW the infamous Nibiru (also known as Planet X)

Please put on your seat belts, and have a nice day

Re: The Rant Thread (v 1.2)

Blegh, iirc, Christ's statement on armageddon was that none but the Father know the day or the hour. Would people quit with the heretical idiocy of suggesting that they can piece together a secret hidden from the f***ing heavenly host? If the LoH is sitting out there preparing armageddon then everyone will know when he wants them to and not an hour before. If he isn't sitting around prepping armageddon then the Bible has no predictive value due to fundamental assumptions on God being wrong. Either way, people need to stop abusing the book to support their newest piece of idiotic rambling about armageddon.

Other things, like humanity, and mercy, and charity, that most good men hold more precious than all else, they do not come first for the Light. Oh, sometimes they are there; often, indeed. I agree Mask, the whole "no man knoweth" is right there in the book. Also Nibiru is a Sumerian thing, not a bible thing. So,stop mixing your dooms day concepts please.

Re: The Rant Thread (v 1.2)

So I just blew up at my brother-in-law. It was bout 25 years of frustration blowing out because he has just been a jerk, like bringing us legal problems jerk, right when my husband is recovering from back surgery. After 3 weeks of avoiding us, except to sneak into the garage and borrow tools, he showed up. Not necessarily to resolve the actual problem, but to drink my husband's liquor and act like he was doing us a favor for causing the problem in the first place. It was the condescending smirk on top of fear for my husband's health that did it. I blew up. Which was probably a really unfair thing to do to my husband. I hope he's okay. I didn't want to stress him out, but I really wanted to straighten out the problem that could have (minor, but real) legal consequences. We can't fix it by ignoring it, which seemed to be the plan. I want to pat myself on the back for deservedly standing up for myself, but now I'm worried that I've literally increased the stress load on my husband's back.

I'm not too worried about the rest of the family. I think they will understand, and mostly not get involved. But if they do get upset, I'm willing to live with it. I just hope my husband can. Off to find something happy to post about. You guys get all of my rants, and I am actually happy most of the time. Sorry about that. And thanks.

That sounds rough. I hope things work out for the best, for you and your husband.

Thanks, Oshii. It is working out sort of okay. No imminent divorce. In fact, maybe better now that I am not sitting on that stress.Pretty frosty between me and BIL. I'm okay with that, at least it got him acting. I really regret one thing that popped out of my mouth, I still feel the rest needed to be said. Saying it nicely several times did not work. It is a little more stress for my husband, but I think it will be okay. There is physical labor involved; I think he is worried that I cannot do it without his brother. I can. Plus I have teenage minions when it takes more hands.

Gahhhh trying to get my fiance to plan in advance is like pulling teeth.

He's one of those people who thinks its acceptable to RSVP to a wedding a week in advance (or less, ugh). I'm going away at the end of next month for a week and a half for a choir trip and our friends are getting married that first weekend as well. I'm trying to get him to just even freaking TELL ME if he can come to Berlin that weekend for their wedding and so that I can make arrangements for the cat to be fed (it's hard to find someone to pet sit for you if you can't even tell them which days they're needed, and you can't do something like that last minute).

As a rule, I don't hold grudges if people don't manage to finish everything in a section before they're shift ends. I do hold grudges if half the job isn't even attempted and they tell me that everything is good. It tends to mean that I can't trust the coworker in question with relatively simple crap and I have to dedicate time to doublechecking their work and redoing things. This is bad.

People are such crybabies. One of my former Facebook friend blocked me because of what I post on Facebook my dislike of Judge Judy. I don't like her because she too abusive to her guest on the show. She always insults people. And I don't find her amusing at all. Also I mention that I wish her show get cancelled long ago.

Okay, I know this is the definition of a first-world problem at it's core, but I'm gonna rant cause I'm salty.

Hot Topic has an amazing Poison Ivy dress. Halloween is coming up; my boyfriend was already planning on being the Joker and has a huge Ivy crush. We'd be that sickeningly cute pair that goes around in a couple's costume. Added bonus- it's nice enough of a dress that I planned an entire "rich people" date on Christmas as an excuse to wear it for him. Added added bonus- this dress was on sale of of last week, down to $35 instead of 100.

I took my measurements and went to order it on Friday- No longer on sale, now back up to the hundred. All day Saturday I kept seeing ads online for the sale price- still not on sale. So I gave up and spent my Halloween budget on a different costume.

To rub salt in the wound, guess what went back on sale again this morning, but now for double the price it was last week?

I know may not seem like a big deal, lol but in my defense, it was really nice dress.

I was involved in a car accident today. Passenger in my own vehicle and we were liable unfortunately. It was an accident but technically still our fault. Everyone involved is fine, physically; Mentally, I'm not so sure where I am at the moment. Fortunately the impact wasn't even severe enough for air bags to deploy, but I'm so aggravated on many levels. I'd rather not go into any further details at this time.

I believe that statistics show everyone of us will be involved in at least a fender bender at some time in our life. In letting people who are flying fell safer, they are told that you are more likely to die in a car crash than a plane crash. I myself have only been in a car accident once, mainly a fender bender, and that is driving as a professional driver. Remember that is over about 50 years. I know being in an even minor encounter is bothersome, but with no physical injuries, best to count yourself very lucky.

Glad no-one got hurt! But it's a shock none the less.

I almost got run over last week. I was at a crossing waiting for the light to turn green, started walking. Halfway across I heard squealing and saw something coming towards me. Apparently a woman in a pickup hadn't seen I was IN the crossing and stepped on the speeder. She stopped like 20 cm from me, I didn't have a chance to react. I was shaking and crying for hours.
