Brian Bates, 'The Way of Wyrd' - A fictional tale based on historical fact, about a young Christian scribe who accompanies a pagan sorceror on an epic spiritual journey through Anglo-Saxon England.

Kathleen Herbert, 'Looking For The Lost Gods of England' - transcript of a lecture about the worship of the Gods in AS England.

And of course don't forget the literature from the time- not just 'Beowulf', but 'The Anglo-Saxon Chronicle', the poems such as 'The Wanderer' and 'The Seafarer' and 'The Battle of Maldon', all provide invaluable insights into the ways of our ancestors.

This is a site that has info on the Anglo-Saxon period, ranging from the texts (complete with Old English version alongside), to info about the customs and famous people of the time. It also has maps and a timeline, as well as a list of links to other sites, though most of them don't work, sadly; I'm guessing this is an old site that hasn't been updated in a while.

On that note, I'm still lamenting the loss of englishheathenism.homestead.com, which used to be my main source of Anglo-Saxon info.

Heathenry is certainly not Wiccan and definitely not Nazitru, heathenry is scholarly and is based on factual evidence, not 'fluffy' nonsense or political agenda.
