    If religion is described as "a belief in a God/Goddess or Gods/Godesses," then atheism is not a religion. It is the absence of religion (not A does not equal A).

    However, if religion is described as "one's attitude toward the supernatural," then atheism is a religion (A equals A).

    Whether atheism is a religion or not depends on what one is trying to say, which dictates the definition used, which dictates the answer.
    Every moment of a life is a horrible tragedy, a slapstick comedy, dark nihilism, golden illumination, or nothing at all; depending on how we write the story we tell ourselves.

      There are atheistic religions, such as the one Deuce practices. Being an atheist in general, though, does not define you as part of a religion any more than being a theist does.
