And the comments. Good gravy, the comments.

This is really insulting towards men. It makes it seem like they have to be placated and are overly fragile. They can't deal with the real world.

Yup. That's how I see it. And no amount of spinning is going to make me think these particular Christian men aren't anything but pussies.

look up the Plymoth Brethern somtime - that's a scary sect just from what we know of it and I have talked to a former member who admited to me that it is far worse but, despit changing name and region he is still too scared to speak about it.

    LOL - let me rephrase...

It doesn't mean that any more people agree than agree with any other stupid doodoo on the internet.
Those who have suffered understand suffering and therefore extend their hand.

I can't do everything, but I can do something.

Same old same old. Nearly all the passages he quoted, particularly from Proverbs, have matching equivalents for men, basically summed up as: don't be a foolish, angry obnoxious drunk.

I get that. My annoyance is that it seems we (collectively) figure out men can monitor themselves and don't need to be told in a to do list how to behave. I'm a woman. I can be a bitch all on my own. I don't need the collective telling me.
