Well it sure is reincarnated with all or nearly all of the old threads. Not sure that is good or bad but the history is there none the less. Will have to wait and see it if recovers its once glory and presence. Only time will tell I suppose.

I personally think it's hard to say if a forum is dead when it takes so long to get an activation email for an account. Just my opinion but I think that site stands a greater chance of failing again due to that reason than people not contributing to it. 24 - 48 hours hours from application to response seems reasonable to me but if it goes beyond that then I think people will move on.
That and it seems there is little to no promotion of the site's return other than word of mouth. It will never make it back into the top search results without some sort of discussion about it. Right now it seems, to me anyway, the main results you get searching still deal with the negative posts that were made about the forum but especially one of the owners. People who were there then might know what happened but anyone doing a general search I highly doubt would have any clue beyond what the various authors wrote.
Only time will tell I suppose.

Personally,I am very content here at Pagan Forum..snuggles in the plush couch and sips the herbal tea...
Oh I agree 100 percent. I am quite content here and have no plans of leaving.
I think part of the driving force for Mysticwicks is sort of a nostalgic remembrance of what it was and how it filled a void one time. Figure it was one of the premier go to sites and for many the first look at things pagan. Do a search and it was highly likely that Mysticwicks was going to be in the top ten results listed. I know when I first found it I was looking for something to replace the sites I had belonged to such as Triplemoon and A Mystical Grove (AMG) that both sort of went belly up about the same time.
So its not only nostalgic but I think seen through a rosy lens for many. Perhaps even a means of recapturing the past and connecting or reconnecting to who and what they once were. Maybe even a time when they actually though they knew who and what they were and what paganism / occultism was.
