What is something that you do (or don't do because you are afraid of looking dumb) or think that gives you the "OMG, I'm such an idiot" feel?
For example...I never know when to use affect vs effect. Seriously.
Also, I always, always, always spell character wrong. Thank the gods for spell check.

I can't type the word 'because' without having to go back and correct it. Ever. I always, without fail, type 'becasue'. For some reason, my mental wiring has a defect in that spot.

I think for me it's got to be using There, Their and They're. I almost always reverse the e & i in their on the first typing. It's probably not unusual but Alter and Altar used to get me as I meant Altar as in a religious usage but would write alter.
A pet peeve though has to be plane and plain. I see so many talk about alternate plains of reality or dimensions but always it seems they write plane.

Basic subtraction sometimes gives me issues. I'm usually pretty good with letters, but the word "receipt" always messes me up, I have to be super careful when writing it.

And on a more serious darker note? My lack of clarity in my eyesight. I have the blurry coke bottle vision due to Diabetes. So little details get missed. Quite a few times I will be asking for something right in front of me. Or told to go get a small tool and I'm staring at the wall not know where it's at. Even though I know it's right there in front of me.
