My sleep pattern is all screwed up since I got out of the hospital. I don't even know what day it is. Last night I took a sleeping pill because I wanted to finally get a good's night sleep without anxiety waking me up every 2 hours. Mind you I went cold turkey on the sleeping pills quite a while ago. So I took one like at 3am. Woke up at 11 am groggy as all hell. Like I was in a black death sleep. Great! But now I'm up.

So I'm spamming the hell out of pf.

So for 'dinner' tonight I did a bad bad thing. I had frozen yogurt for dinner. And by frozen yogurt I mean chocolate frozen yogurt. With chopped strawberries. And maraschino cherries. And sprinkled Butter Finger crumbs. And oh. Um. Cool Whip.

Yup.

I confess... I really don't like the fashionable misanthropy so common these days. It's as unattractive as a lack of self worth.

I also genuinely blamed flatulence on a pet and got away with it.

I agree with this. And I especially hate it when it becomes an excuse to do nothing.

I think there are very many terrible things that we can lay at the feet of humanity, but I don't think it is because we are terrible or evil, etc. And I think all of those things can be overcome.

I confess I only own three pairs of "daytime" pants that don't have holes in them and all 3 are yoga pants.

I need to go shopping for work pants when I get back stateside.

I confess I'm sometimes sorry I reconnected with people I knew in high school. A lot of weird stuff comes back.

Everybody I knew back then is currently weirder than I am now.

Maybe I have a skewed perspective, or maybe they are all nuts. Or maybe they aren't, but I am.

We're all a little bit nuts, B. !! I walked away from everyone when I went to college. A friend was murdered that summer, and it traumatized me, although I seemed fine, even to myself. Now I have people asking about it from time to time. It's just weird.

I walked away from everyone when I went to college.

I basically did the same thing, with the exception of two people. One of those is now my ex-wife, and the other wound up struggling with PTSD and ended up committing suicide years later.

That is one part of living a long time,you see people go away in many different ways...after a while you kind of become numb to death of others.
