This has probably been discussed, but I didn't see a specific thread for it..
I'm reading Drawing Down the Moon and there is a chapter devoted to polytheism, monotheism, pantheism, etc. and also how many Pagans view deity. One section mentioned how many Pagans think of Gods and Goddesses as Jungian archetypes as opposed to real beings. I've heard this from some of the Pagan YouTubers I follow, but I haven't given it much thought up until now. And, honestly, I'm not sure of how I view them.. Something for me to ponder on..
So I'm curious.. How do you view deity? Are they real beings to you or do you think of them as archetypes? And why do you think you view them in that way? I love hearing different perspectives
