    The Mustache of Salvidore Dali

For those of you who are not as interested in art as am I, you may not be aware that the body of famous bizarro artist Salvidore Dali has been exhuned in order to determine his genetic relationship in a paternity suite.

The big news, however, is that, once the walnut was cracked, Dali's famous mustache was discovered to be completely intact.

Every moment of a life is a horrible tragedy, a slapstick comedy, dark nihilism, golden illumination, or nothing at all; depending on how we write the story we tell ourselves.

Very interesting mustache. Never seen one like that before and it's amazing that it survived.

Did it still look neat and trim or did it grow some? I heard somewhere I forget a few years back now that even after death hair will grow for a bit. Do not know if its true but i did really hear that somewhere.

IIRC (Thal most likely knows), it's less that hair and nails grow and more that skin recedes as time passes. It looks similar at first glance but the process and reasoning are different.
life itself was a lightsaber in his hands; even in the face of treachery and death and hopes gone cold, he burned like a candle in the darkness. Like a star shining in the black eternity of space.

        Yoda: Dark Rendezvous

"But those men who know anything at all about the Light also know that there is a fierceness to its power, like the bare sword of the law, or the white burning of the sun." Suddenly his voice sounded to Will very strong, and very Welsh. "At the very heart, that is. Other things, like humanity, and mercy, and charity, that most good men hold more precious than all else, they do not come first for the Light. Oh, sometimes they are there; often, indeed. But in the very long run the concern of you people is with the absolute good, ahead of all else..."

John Rowlands, The Grey King by Susan Cooper

"You come from the Lord Adam and the Lady Eve", said Aslan. "And that is both honour enough to erect the head of the poorest beggar, and shame enough to bow the shoulders of the greatest emperor on earth; be content."

Aslan, Prince Caspian by CS Lewis

Correct. Skin dehydrates after death, making it appear like nails and hair is still growing, but it's just an illusion.

I don't know if the 'stache was still pristine. The article should have included corpse photos, but didn't.

Nah... Dig out a chunk if earwax, and give the ends a quick twist every now and then.

Yeah I just read an article about it.

The gruesome sight features in literature and horror films, but is it true? To find out, we need to look into the world of organ transplants.

And to think I know Ive told at least two people that the hair does grow lol
