    I'm thinking of making a tarot deck to keep my mind occupied from the coronavirus crisis.

      Thinking about the crazy rollercoaster of life and how after a bunch of years, I've found myself coming back to here. Perhaps it was on my mind due to the crisis, or just changes in my life, or a million other reasons, but here I am.

        Welcome Back!
        life itself was a lightsaber in his hands; even in the face of treachery and death and hopes gone cold, he burned like a candle in the darkness. Like a star shining in the black eternity of space.

        Yoda: Dark Rendezvous

        "But those men who know anything at all about the Light also know that there is a fierceness to its power, like the bare sword of the law, or the white burning of the sun." Suddenly his voice sounded to Will very strong, and very Welsh. "At the very heart, that is. Other things, like humanity, and mercy, and charity, that most good men hold more precious than all else, they do not come first for the Light. Oh, sometimes they are there; often, indeed. But in the very long run the concern of you people is with the absolute good, ahead of all else..."

        John Rowlands, The Grey King by Susan Cooper

        "You come from the Lord Adam and the Lady Eve", said Aslan. "And that is both honour enough to erect the head of the poorest beggar, and shame enough to bow the shoulders of the greatest emperor on earth; be content."

        Aslan, Prince Caspian by CS Lewis

            Well, WV now officially has Coronavirus cases and they are all in my county. Now I am going to definitely have to stay in and it's going to drive me crazy. What's even worse is that we probably are going to have more issues with supplies.

              I gots nothin' to do currently but sit & wax all philosophical.

              I can't help but notice how the idea of "weaken the federal government" has failed the nation. The CDC has been warning of this inevitable pandemic since the late '70s. Nobody gave a shot because it haven't hadn't happened yet.

              Maybe we outta think about climate change and method impacts now, while we're onna roll.

              Non-straight males are finally standing up to centuries of being pissed on, and entering politics at truly exciting pace.

              The NEED for national health care could not be made anymore obvious than it is right now.

              Party politics and propaganda wars have been an utter and unrimitable disaster to all save the rich or the delusionable.

              Maybe this clusterfuck will wake people up.

              Those of you who are awake, those of you who really care about a better world, please remember:

              turning and turning in the widening gyre
              The falcon cannot hear the falconer;
              Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;
              Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,
              The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere
              The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
              The best lack all conviction, while the worst
              Are full of passionate intensity.
              Every moment of a life is a horrible tragedy, a slapstick comedy, dark nihilism, golden illumination, or nothing at all; depending on how we write the story we tell ourselves.

                  Absolutely. I've been thinking of that poem lately. My governor (MO) doesn't want to shut down the state, but rather wants to leave decisions to individuals about what they should do. Alrighty then. This isn't like eating too much fast food. This is like driving drunk. The actions of a handful of morons will harm others. One local hair salon owner posted that they'll be open until they're forced to shut down, and everyone's like "oh how wonderful". No confirmed cases in my county yet, but I have a feeling that will change by Tuesday the latest.

                    Guy behind me at WallyWorld last week, with 25 frozen pizzas in his cart, thinks it's no big deal & just an election years stunt.

                    Weird that the entire world is in on the liberal scam.

                    But, if he was listening to Fox, he was BS'd to the gills, and not nearly intelligent enough to compare what he was told then to what Fox is telling him now, and figure out who lied.

                    They say there is no cure for stupid, but methinks Darwin would disagree on that...

                        One of my state's guys, Josh Hawley, wants China to "foot the bill" because they gave this to the world. These guys REALLY don't want any serious stimulus checks going to regular people.

                          I'm not able to find hand sanitizer anywhere. Like we need sanitizer too. I went to the store today and they're still out of hand sanitizer. They got plenty of soap and are selling that for good deals, but it's just peeving me off that you can't get any hand sanitizer when you need it. I might have to go out to pick up groceries and I need to sanitize my hands and there is none. Well enough rambling from me. I really hope everyone is doing well in this time. Blessings to you all.

                            I wondered if he could ever understand that it was a blessing, not a sin, to be graced with more than one love.
                            It could be complicated; of course it could be complicated. And it opened one up to the possibility of more pain and loss.
                            Still, it was a blessing I would never relinquish. Love, genuine love, was always a cause for joy.

                                Made a post HERE for the release of my new album, have a listen if you got the time! Listening to the entire album in one go is an experience in and of itself (the one I intended), but each song can be enjoyed individually as well.

                                Hope you enjoy it!
