Huh, I really had to think about this one.

    1. Ernest Hemmingway and I would have been the best of brunch friends.
    2. Phedre no Delaunay, but if I'm honest, eating a meal with her wouldn't have exactly been my angle...
    3. I definitely want to eat a feast with Ragnar Lothbrok.
    4. Tom Bombadil. That guy doesn't get enough credit.
    5. Vincent Van Gogh.

Same question as above but with Legends Luke vs canon Luke
life itself was a lightsaber in his hands; even in the face of treachery and death and hopes gone cold, he burned like a candle in the darkness. Like a star shining in the black eternity of space.

          Yoda: Dark Rendezvous

"But those men who know anything at all about the Light also know that there is a fierceness to its power, like the bare sword of the law, or the white burning of the sun." Suddenly his voice sounded to Will very strong, and very Welsh. "At the very heart, that is. Other things, like humanity, and mercy, and charity, that most good men hold more precious than all else, they do not come first for the Light. Oh, sometimes they are there; often, indeed. But in the very long run the concern of you people is with the absolute good, ahead of all else..."

John Rowlands, The Grey King by Susan Cooper

"You come from the Lord Adam and the Lady Eve", said Aslan. "And that is both honour enough to erect the head of the poorest beggar, and shame enough to bow the shoulders of the greatest emperor on earth; be content."

I wondered if he could ever understand that it was a blessing, not a sin, to be graced with more than one love.
It could be complicated; of course it could be complicated. And it opened one up to the possibility of more pain and loss.
Still, it was a blessing I would never relinquish. Love, genuine love, was always a cause for joy.

Catholic architecture... seriously, the RCC has had some pretty cool churches built over the year.

Certain pieces of Orthodox theology amuse me. Specifically Heaven and Hell are the same exact place, the only real difference is your relationship with LoH and therefore how you experience it. I always found this twist on Christian cosmology entertaining.

Heathenry has Heimdall. A number of Heathen Powers irritate me on a good day but I like Heimdall.

Romans, a stroke of good fortune helped out my family years ago after a request made to Pluto in his capacity as Lord of Riches under the Earth. By virtue of that particular course of events, Pluto gets the occasional good word and Roman beliefs get kudos because Pluto is part of them.

Hellenic, if you think Pluto = Hades then see above. Otherwise, hmm, some of the mythos is pretty entertaining.

                        Hmm, I'm stopping now.
