    Sacred Egyptian Lotus (actually water lily)

    My Sacred Egyptian Lotus (Nymphea Caerulea) is blooming. Here are a couple pics:

      I hunted for that specific plant for a month before I found one. I tried starting from seeds, but didn't get any to germinate.

      Finally found a supplier that had it - Tricker.com. The plant they sent me was HUGE, and already had four buds on it.

      I recommend Tricker to any water lily lovers (side note: Tricker was founded by William Tricker, one of the early American water lily hybridizers).
