Oh, I firmly believe there will be shenanigans. Bookies are taking odds on "Bomb Iran and declare war and martial law", "Resign a few hours before inauguration, swear Pence in long enough to pardon 45", "all out civil war with those yellow-kilts at the front" and various other absurdities.

Of the three, I consider pardon by Pence most likely but I'm not putting high odds on any of them. Martial law will not extend Trump's term, I don't expect the military to fracture over this and the states don't individually possess awe inspiring fire power if the military doesn't fracture.

Suddenly his voice sounded to Will very strong, and very Welsh. "At the very heart, that is. Other things, like humanity, and mercy, and charity, that most good men hold more precious than all else, they do not come first for the Light. Oh, sometimes they are there; often, indeed. But in the very long run the concern of you people is with the absolute good, ahead of all else..."

My personal line of thought is that he'll keep collecting donations and then spend some time avoiding whatever the state of NY wants to throw at him. He's likely to start up his own social media platform, etc., since he's mad at Twitter for posting those little disclaimers on so many of his tweetstorms. He's going to keep the idea of "how he really won" alive as long as possible to keep the money rolling in.

Yep, this seems reasonable for him. He's especially likely to try and start up a new social media platform since there's a non-zero chance that Twitter is going to ban him for endless ToS violations shortly after he leaves office. It'll be interesting to see how successful he is at dodging prosecution after his term ends. There are a lot of prosecutors who are potentially sharpening knives in anticipation of him leaving office.

Hopefully he'll remerge into the general cosmic background radiation left over from the big bang, and we can go back to pretending people like him aren't worthy of note.

Before he became prez, tRump was a mere clown.

Now, tRump, you festering puss filled boil on the sphincter of America, go back to mere clownishness.

Every moment of a life is a horrible tragedy, a slapstick comedy, dark nihilism, golden illumination, or nothing at all; depending on how we write the story we tell ourselves.

Honestly, I'm hoping he goes into an 8x10 cell. I have doubts that I'll get that wish and I'm a bit worried about the response from the entirely too many idiots who support him still but my preferred end for Trump involves an 8x10 cell.

My dog hit me in the face yesterday, hard enough to cause a nosebleed. Today, I have a swollen nose and throbbing between my eyes.

                    Large dogs. *Sigh*

(We were cuddling and I made the mistake of asking him if he wanted to go for a walk)

                      Is this animal abuse?

Or would that only be if you punched the dog?

IMO - If anyone can accomplish that, it's NY Gov. Cuomo. What truly baffles me is how 45 has a following at all in NY/NJ after all his casino shenanigans years ago. It's absolutely true that he didn't pay contractors, etc. He was always a shyster.

A-holes who fly under the legal radar ought not become a despised former president if they wish to continue subs radar flying.

8 X 10 cell looks good, though I still hope for a Family annihilator ending...

Anomic: In these cases the family has become firmly linked in the mind of the killer to the economy. The father sees family as the result of his economic success, allowing him to display his achievements. However, if the father becomes an economic failure, he sees the family as no longer serving this function.

Maybe if saying the word "WALK" and then making him wait 15 minutes for my nose to stop bleeding is abuse lol...

Happy New Year! I still celebrate in Eastern time, but here in Central there's about 45 minutes to go. I'll probably be asleep by then!
