Well since I last posted I: turned 40 on the 3rd (I can't believe I hit the big 4-0), I got a new job at Sonic in which I start next week, and I finally had my CT mylegram. I finally found out that my back has worsened. I knew this but had the procedure done because I needed proof that something had changed from the last one in 2020. I have two diagnoses and one can be made better as I lose weight with the lap band. The other might require a surgical option or rehab. We'll see. All I can say is that I'm glad I had the myelogram despite the fact that I was in pain for 2 days.

Thanks Hawkfeathers. I do love the job. I am hoping to working with making burgers and sandwiches soon. It's really busy in the afternoon. I find myself doing dishes and that's something that I can't do. I don't mind doing dishes but staying there and doing them stiffens it. I found some medicine and new spray for myself yesterday so I am going to take it with me tomorrow to help me. Yesterday got over 100 degrees and it worsened in the kitchen. Definitely hoping this resolves itself during the week. I do love it over all and I think once I get back to it and work on strengthening my back and losing more weight I will feel better.

Now I heard there some monkey pox disease is spreading around. Good grief. I'm beginning to think that this pandemic is a science-fiction sitcom. 😩

Finally getting a little bit of rain in the small town where I live in central Oklahoma. First rain of any significance we've had locally in two months or more. Temps have dropped from near 100F to around 75F. A little north and east of us received somewhere between 2-3 inches, minor flash flooding, trees and power lines are down. I'd take a little chaos for 2 inches of rain along about now...

Working at the Kroger Deli now and I am having a great time with my fellow employees. A lot of nice people at the Deli department. Because I'm getting back to work I am having some pain in my back and feet, but once I work for a couple of weeks I am sure it will go away. I am very happy with my new job so far. Especially my 10% discount. Lol!

I went to the WV Tattoo Expo yesterday. I was sort of disappointed that I didn't see my tattoo shop there nor this other shop which I had wanted to talk to them. So I wasn't happy about that. However, there were some shops on the outside before you enter. I went over to this one lady who had new age type products, like tarot card key chains. I had been wanting to get one because my Anubis key chain had broke. I didn't like the Death card key chain but we got talking and she gave me my first card reading. She used four different decks and it is was totally amazing. I was just stunned because it was like she pinned me. She had pulled a couple of cards based on my spiritual animal and when I revealed that my spirit animal was a wolf. She said she had a shiver and revealed one of the cards to me that I didn't know was related to my spirit animal. I've never been against card readings or any type of readings. I just haven't been able to get one. I definitely think I will be getting more in the future.

Goodness sakes. I checked my schedule for this week. I am supposed to be working from tomorrow to Monday from 12:30-9:00. Now I came in on my day off, which was Tuesday, to help out. I'm supposed to have Friday off, so I'm going to ask what is going on tomorrow. I am supposed to work on the weekend and I can understand Monday since it is Labor Day. However, it just is too much if I have to work 6 days in a row, well 7 if they don't give me a break on Friday. I appreciate I have a job so much, but wow I am old and haven't been worked this hard in forever. Wish I was young again.

I wonder what my middle daughter is thinking when she considers her future - in light of all ffa comps for her focus in our region on hold indefinitely. She's been working her ass off for years, breeding for a scholarship - but now, she won't even get the chance to show. In other news, my biggest girl is going to Temple. My youngest girl Mo has informed me that his name is Mike. I'm like...fuck, what's wrong with Mo, I set you up asshole! Mike finds this counterargument unpersuasive. In fact, Mike finds a great deal of his new masculine identity unpersuasive..and it's not exactly easy to raise a son even if they like the things you like as a dad. Wants to move to japan, and draw manga for a living. "Who's gonna help me slaughter the livestock?!?"...."Your daughters" he says. My younger boys are back there somewhere negotiating with me, they'll do it, if they get to keep the knives in their drawers. I think...meeeeeeh, idk about that you stabby little bastards. I knew your father!
