This is a very good cause ran by a very amazing man and woman in West Yellowstone, MT whose daughter died of cancer. The triathlon has been going on for several years, and has donated thousands of dollars to the American Cancer Society, scholarships for high school graduates, and local schools. This will be the last year that the triathlon will run, and I will be helping out (although not competing). I'm trying to get the word out so that others know about it, and since it is the last year for the event, we are -trying- to get as many people as we can to go out there and compete/show support for the event and for Shigeko and Jack (parents of Janet).
The event -does- take place in West Yellowstone, MT, which is right next to the west entrance of Yellowstone National Park, so if you haven't seen it or are just looking for something awesome to do this summer, come out to west and check out the event and visit the park. It is a beautiful place, and this is a beautiful cause. <3
