    Not really an introduction.

I just wanted to apologize for my lack of activity in the forum over the last several months. I try to stay active, and I try to participate, but life consistently gets in the way.

With my work schedule of three weeks on, three weeks off, I find I have very little time to sit down and surf the internet, which frankly, is fine with me. We shouldn't confine and constrain our lives to a (in my case) 14 inch LCD screen. The internet at work is horrendous, and I use it infrequently. At home, I'm trying to squeeze in as much living as I possibly can, and tend not to stay online terribly long.

That besides, I feel like I really have very little to contribute to any of the debate threads anymore. Over the past year, I have been drifting from paganism, and leaning very heavily towards indifference, buddhism, or just nothing at all. I've got other things to think about in my life, rather than focus on (what I feel has been) a decade's worth of half-assed attempts at semi-organized religion.

My life is tumultuous right now - by the end of the year, I will have moved to Northern BC for a change of scenery, and then I'm spending my winter in Asia because I need something foreign.

Either way. Hi. I've missed you, and I'm sorry I'm not home very often.

    Mostly art.

    *hugs*

V, you don't have to be here to contribute about your spirituality (unless you want to)...you are family, just come and hang out with us from time to time.

    ...and we missed you too!

Not accepted, we never forget and we never forgive!

Just kidding, what's most important is that you are doing well and everything is fine. That's what we really care about

You are always welcome no matter what.
Gargoyles watch over me...I can hear them snicker in the dark.

Pull the operating handle (which protrudes from the right side of the receiver) smartly to the rear and release it.

Of course we accept apologies, just like Vader.

and yes, I'm kidding too. You're always welcome V.
life itself was a lightsaber in his hands; even in the face of treachery and death and hopes gone cold, he burned like a candle in the darkness. Like a star shining in the black eternity of space.

          Yoda: Dark Rendezvous

"But those men who know anything at all about the Light also know that there is a fierceness to its power, like the bare sword of the law, or the white burning of the sun." Suddenly his voice sounded to Will very strong, and very Welsh. "At the very heart, that is. Other things, like humanity, and mercy, and charity, that most good men hold more precious than all else, they do not come first for the Light. Oh, sometimes they are there; often, indeed. But in the very long run the concern of you people is with the absolute good, ahead of all else..."

John Rowlands, The Grey King by Susan Cooper

"You come from the Lord Adam and the Lady Eve", said Aslan. "And that is both honour enough to erect the head of the poorest beggar, and shame enough to bow the shoulders of the greatest emperor on earth; be content."
