Re: patience spell
Locate an arcade with a good first person shooter and spend some quality time killing things a couple times a week. Admittedly it's not a spell in the traditional sense but it's a good way to distract the mind and if appropriate vent. Daily walks can work but shooting stuff is more fun. Pricier but much more fun.life itself was a lightsaber in his hands; even in the face of treachery and death and hopes gone cold, he burned like a candle in the darkness. Like a star shining in the black eternity of space.
Yoda: Dark Rendezvous
"But those men who know anything at all about the Light also know that there is a fierceness to its power, like the bare sword of the law, or the white burning of the sun." Suddenly his voice sounded to Will very strong, and very Welsh. "At the very heart, that is. Other things, like humanity, and mercy, and charity, that most good men hold more precious than all else, they do not come first for the Light. Oh, sometimes they are there; often, indeed. But in the very long run the concern of you people is with the absolute good, ahead of all else..."
John Rowlands, The Grey King by Susan Cooper
"You come from the Lord Adam and the Lady Eve", said Aslan. "And that is both honour enough to erect the head of the poorest beggar, and shame enough to bow the shoulders of the greatest emperor on earth; be content."

Re: patience spell
I have a rule.
Never, ever, under any circumstances, ask any force in the Universe, for strength or patience. The Universe will conspire to send things, events & people your way that will show you, in no uncertain terms, exactly how strong and patient you can be.
Trust me, strength & patience spells are a trap. The forum member formerly known as perzephone. Or Perze. I've shed a skin.

Heh, I have a variant on that rule. Just never thought of applying it to patience but yeah patience is something I don't want help developing.life itself was a lightsaber in his hands; even in the face of treachery and death and hopes gone cold, he burned like a candle in the darkness. Like a star shining in the black eternity of space.

Re: patience spell
Why have a spell when a few comic strips can drive the point home?

Re: patience spell
StumbleUpon. Not just a procrastination tool.
Also, maybe try breathing exercises. They aren't spells in the sense of lighting candles and chanting something... although, you could always light some candles and play a chant in the background to set the ambiance. But I think breathing exercises help develop patience.Experience is what you get when you didn't get what you wanted. And experience is often the most valuable thing you have to offer.

Re: patience spell
This is where having a good meditative practice comes in--you don't need a spell, you need to be able to drain and channel the emotions and energy that comes from the feelings you get in those situations where you need patience--frustration, anger, exasperation, etc.Wonderful Life: The Burgess Shale and the Nature of HistoryPagan Devotionals, because the wind and the rain is our Bible
