Hey guys, those of you who are on my FB will know that I'm doing the Ride to Conquer Cancer, a 250km bike (that's right. BICYCLE) ride from Vancouver to Seattle. It's spread over two days in June, and in order to ride, I have to raise a whopping $2500 (Canadian, that is).
All proceeds go towards the BC Cancer Foundation in assisting fund research for cancer, and without that $2500, I'm not able to do the ride. I've lost a few people to cancer, and my boyfriend's little sister has ovarian and intestinal cancer right now. She's lost both ovaries (at the age of 21), and is scheduled to start chemo treatments asap. In my humble opinion, anything could help.
So if anyone has some spare cash laying around on their credit cards (or cheques they feel like parting with) ...you can donate HERE.
I'm just shy of halfway through, and I've only got another two months to raise. This means a lot to me, so any little bit could help.
