Don't Eat What You Can't Name

I once knew a talented fellow
That could weave a tale, fierce or mellow
But never did he ever learn
The leaf of tree, wildflower, or fern

So when one night, he deigned to gather
Parts of plants he thought would matter
And he boiled them in a brew to drink
Then promptly expired in a lather, I think.

          LMAO!!!!!!
Every moment of a life is a horrible tragedy, a slapstick comedy, dark nihilism, golden illumination, or nothing at all; depending on how we write the story we tell ourselves.

Creative plagiarism... or an alternate ending, lol.

                    Trials of Urban Pagans

                    Polly Penelope Starlight,
In the city, day and night,
                    Wanted Nature a bit closer,
So she went a-lookin' for 'Er.

She did pet the dogs out on the street
And the carriage horses she did meet,
She's always here; She's all around us!
And then poor Polly got hit by a bus.
There once was a man who said though,
It seems that I know that I know,
                    What I'd like to see,
Is the I that knows me,
When I know that I know that I know.

Pagans need harsh values to teach their children?

                            Do they?

                            Do they really?

I still can't quite see why this should be so .....
