Medusa's Question Du Jour *the millenium edition!*

    Yep, look who's back?!

If you could create a monster movie, what kind of monster would it be, and what would be the underlying moral of the story?

Hrm. It would probably be some kind of Lovecraftian horror. The moral of the story would be "don't f*ck with the supernatural".

Cheesy 50's B&W movie about giant communist radioactive ants terrorizing some stereotypical Midwestern town.

One of my favorite movies ever is The Blair Witch Project, so mine would probably be something along the lines of "unseen insidious force stalking naive young people in a creepy forest setting." Possibly even of the "found footage" genre. It must be really fun and challenging to create a movie and make it look like it was shot by an amateur while keeping it believable.

The moral would be, don't assume you're bigger than an entire cursed village unless you're a monk.

Probably a serial killer type movie. Because they are the REAL monsters.

This. I can watch all the gore and blood and torment of a supernatural movie, but when it gets a little true (i.e. based on true story/crime movie) then it gets a little freaky.

Ok, I have a good one.

With the exception of a handful of survivors, the world has been overtaken my zombies. The survivors have been holding out for years and have developed ways to survive long-term.

I'd rather see a short film about if zombies actually happened...

Realistically, the zombies would all be dead long before you even got a chance to fire up that chainsaw motorcycle you've been working on.

It'd only take about 30min... lol could maybe make it a full feature film.

Since you said monster, I can't use a villain that's human. So hmmmm I'm gonna go with alien monsters that abduct humans and do things to them.

There would be lots of boobies. Aliens are here to try to study boobies so their females can have them, because according to their advanced science which is millions of years ahead of us, boobies are the best thing in the universe. And that's the moral of the story.

Dumuzi go patent that idea before someone steals it. Though you either have to make it an HBO movie, which is PBS with titties, if you want a good plot. otherwise give it a crappy/near nonexistant plot and you'd have a new porno video. lol
