So here's another one I didn't expect to enjoy so much. Tower Heist. The beginning of the movie sets up the characters very well without info-dumping their backgrounds. You get a sense for who they are and their motives almost instantly. The story also goes at a quick pace without lagging, and there's plenty of humor involved. It had it's twists and unexpected moments, and I thoroughly enjoyed it ^_^ It's a great movie to enjoy on a lazy weeknight :-)

Re: Tower Heist
I have a thing about expecting Ben Stiller movies to stink royally, and giving them half an hour to prove they're worth the risk.
The movie didn't waste any time, anywhere in that first half hour. With my prejudice against Ben Stiller, I do believe this film isn't winning any awards; and isn't going to be one we can watch again and again, and still enjoy. But that first time watching it was fun."A true initiation never ends"-Robert Anton Wilson
