I actually enjoyed Zombeavers more than I thought I would. A toxic spill, beavers that turn into zombies, hillbillies, cute girls, all sorts of animal/beaver zombie hybrids, and just plain b-horror goodness.

I watched Under Suspicion on HBO or Max last night. How did I miss this movie in 2000? Great to see Hackman and Freeman together.

I wanted to both see this movie and read the book. But so much press about it, I eventually stumbled upon the spoiler. And well...it spoiled watching it for me.

Torey and I went to see Jurassic World with Heka today. It was awesome... really well done and true to the feel of the original, with some sensitive references to the original and a few very clever and subtle digs at itself. Also... MOSASAURUS! I think it's my favourite after the first Jurassic Park.

And yeah... I like dinosaurs.

Just re-re-re-re-(etc) watched the Harry Potter series. Having the books basically memorized, I never really enjoyed the movies apart from the sound tracks, and some of the portrayals of characters (Sirius Black, Bellatrix Lestrange, Umbridge, Voldemort, etc)
But hey, for the childhood and stuff. Our daughter will grow up watching them.
