It's so bad that I have lived in Missouri my whole life and I still can't get myself to handle the cold weather well. And I've noticed that it is seems to get worse the older I get. You'd swear I'm a transplanted Floridian or Californian.

Grew up in California,and now live in NJ,you sort of get used to it,but the older you are the more temps effect you...I am 67,so get used to the weather messing with you...

A few things:

1) hilarious conversation with my boyfriend yesterday:
Me: why are you sparkly and smell like spiced vanilla? Did you use my body lotion on your face?
Him: Maybe. Was I not supposed to?
Still laughing about it.

2) Reading "Gone Girl", just hit the plot twist.

3) I've barely been on the Internet over the past few days, just occasionally checked facebook and my email on my phone. This is the first time I've been on the computer since Tuesday. I'm loving the break.

The kittens got fixed about two weeks ago, and the girl kitten licked open her first layer of stitches. The vet game her an antibiotic shot and the Cone of Shame. I know it's not nice, but I laughed until I cried at her bonking the cone into things. I actually had to take it off because she can't eat or drink with it on.

The kittens got fixed about two weeks ago, and the girl kitten licked open her first layer of stitches. The vet game her an antibiotic shot and the Cone of Shame. I know it's not nice, but I laughed until I cried at her bonking the cone into things. I actually had to take it off because she can't eat or drink with it on.

Don't feel too bad. I had to buy my dog one because she wouldn't leave a sore alone. I about peed myself from laughing so hard when I was trying to give her a treat with it on. And the way my cat has looked at her with it on? Hysterical!

I discovered last night after work that at my brother and his g/fs gender reveal party they are having a girl. That two new nieces in the next four to five months (I have two brothers who are expecting) and P.A. and Steph are naming her after me. Also I am smiling even more because I told him it was a girl and he didn't listen. I like being right, and loved enough to have her named after me.

I just bought myself a new camera canon eos 7d. Can't wait to take it out been around the world (or just a few towns) to learn that the small stores don't have the license to sell it. But I found someone who did! And they had it in store. So now I have it. Best late birthday present ever and it's snowing so I'll have nice stuff to photograph tomorrow. I'm over the moon about it

I'm crabby, I'm back at work, and its *that time of month*...I have cramps and a backache and I slept horribly, its pouring rain and the temp dropped about 20 degrees, and I'm trying to complete the most mindnumbingly boring training ever before I get to the pile of work that comes with taking 3 days off at the end of the year.

But sitting in front of me is a steaming hot cup of Celestial Seasonings Mint Magic Tea* with Agave.

A little sip of heaven.



*My absolute favorite commercial tea...so good, I've not yet adequately cloned and improved it with my own recipe.
