      Welcome, Miranda!

I am considered morbidly obese and have started trying to lose weight. It's been a week and I lost 8.4 pounds and anywhere from half an inch to an inch off certain areas of my body! Also, my scale measures body fat percentage and it shows that my percentage is lower. I know it's not completely accurate, but it's still motivating.

Good for you, Trinity! I am down 80 pounds and know that 8.4 pounds in a week is a great accomplishment. Stay motivated- you can do this.

Went for a dental cleaning for the first time in two years, and...I have extremely healthy teeth. I'm not sure how, but somehow, no plaque, no cavities, no nothing. Just a bit of staining from tea drinking.

            This makes me smile.

After a 5 hour wait, I was able to get to finally see the doctor. I have a throat infection. I have to wear a mask. I was given some antibiotics and cough medicine. And I'm about to nap the nap of a sleep deprived gal.

That 'looking forward to sleep' bit makes me smile all the time.

But! There's two words there that instantly remove any smile from my face.... throat infection. Yikes.

I know I haven't posted in this thread very much since my anti-climactic return from Asia, but...

I just did my photoshoot with the darling model who offered to pose for me, and it went SO WELL! My camera barely acted up (it's kinda a bit broken) and the lighting was good, and I'm just really pleased.

And it's sunny and warm out.

My computer made it to the factory in (seemingly) one piece. I may actually get it by the end of this week!
