First off, I'm sorry if this is in the wrong section. I'm new and bound to make mistakes.
And so it goes like this.
My patron god is Hermes.
However, my patron god is also Asclepius.
Yeah. Is this supposed to be possible?
I needed Asclepius when I was growing up because my Mother was abusive, and I required his help in order to survive. Every time I got beat up he patched me back together. For a few examples; I was a stillborn, but managed to come back, and in the NICU I healed way faster than the other kids who had less issues than I did. I had a heart murmur that vanished without a trace four hours after I was born (Revived? Brought to life? How does this even work?), when I broke my wrist it healed two weeks sooner than it was supposed to, when I damaged my neck and Mom refused to take me to the hospital it healed on its own with no adverse effects, when I get sick it's so mild I don't notice it and, consequently, don't need medicine for it, and when I was little I would capture snakes and play with them, not knowing that they were poisonous, but never got bitten. I only found out they were poisonous when the snake I was playing with bit one of my friends, prompting a three day stay in the hospital.
I needed Hermes when I was growing up because we traveled a lot, and I needed to smile every now and then. After a particularly nasty session with my Mother or my bullies, something nasty prankish would happen to them or something silly prankish would happen to me and make me smile. I like to think that as an escort of the dead, he didn't escort me when I was born, leading to me being able to type this out today. When it comes to luck or last second ordeals, I usually excel, and I can get completely lost, have no idea where the hell I am, guess and dawdle my way through the streets, and still end up where I was supposed to go.
Hermes wasn't as noticeably in my life as Asclepius because Asclepius needed to interfere more noticeably, if that makes any sense.
So are they both my patron gods, one my patron god and the other a god who took pity, or what. Because neither want to leave, and they've both been there since birth.
Once again, I'm really, terribly sorry if this is in the wrong area. I saw a few thread titles with gods/goddesses and kind of guessed.
