    Witches flying broomsticks in Swaziland above 150m will be subjected to arrest and a hefty fine of R500 000, civil aviation authorities say, according to a report.


    A news report from my neighbouring country, Swaziland. And they're being dead serious.

      It must be pretty uncomfortable to fly on a broomstick, though... Especially for the male witches!

        I think thats why all the witches ya see in pics are riding side-saddle... I guess the male witches would especially have to ride side-saddle, or ouch!

                  You know as absurd as it sounds at least they do recognize witchcraft and the usage of a besom as a magical tool. Between taxes for flying to high and witch-doctor taxes they are looking at filling the coffers of the state. Though considering some of the lame laws the US has this is really not that far out.

                    That's great, but surely, as a dovetailing measure, they must prohibit pilots from descending lower than 150 m. above the surface? This would allow the witches to have much more comfort and space for maneuvering.
