Depends how annoyed the Feds are. There's an internal policy to limit the number of times they pull that trick but
1) Someone may decide it doesn't apply here and
2) It's only an internal policy of the DoJ, no court has the ability to force its application if the DoJ decides to ignore it.

It will be interesting to see in the coming days and weeks. A lot will depend upon how the President and Congress take it for sure though the DoJ might do something on their own. Hmm, somehow leaving the scene of the violence, procuring a weapon and returning to the scene then shooting the person in front of your children simply does not appear to be part of the stand your ground defense. Oh it can certainly happen and there are times when it's a good thing. It just happens to involve extra time, effort and money on the part of the Feds and risks pissing a lot of people off so they try not to pull it unless you really aggravate them. Not saying it's a bad thing when it happens though honestly I can not recall a current one where it was to do anything other than soothe public opinion. Unlike many of the Civil Rights cases of the 50's and 60's where it was to charge corrupt officials or protected individuals such as Clan member's at the time.Originally posted by MaskedOne View Post

The Prosecution failed to prove guilt beyond a shadow of a doubt, and thus, the jury found the correct way. The next few days may be interesting though.Comment
