    The Union Flag - symbol of the witch????

    So i was doing some symbol research today and i stumbled upon a rather funny coincidence so i came across this symbol

    and i couldn't help but notice how close this was to the union flag

    now thats the modern union flag and has two sets of diagonal line's yet when we go back a little bit and look at the original union flag it starts to look very similiar and was in use at around about the same time.

    I thought is was a pretty cool coincidence anyway.

    Union Flag?

    UF

    U= 21st letter
    F= 6th letter

    21+6=27

    27 = 9+9+9

    And 999 is 666 upside down!!! O_O

      ROFL that is awesome.

      Hmmm, when I see something with the cross-and-x design I tend to think, eight points - cardinal directions and secondary (compass-style), or the symbol for sun deities or Venus, or the atom. My own personal sigil has 8 points kinda like that (differently done though) and can be used to make a fractal symbolising infinity, so I looked at it and thought "Ooh it's kinda like mine!"

        I'm not seeing the 13 - XIII. Well, I can see it but there are three incidental horizontal lines which means assigning meaning to some lines but not others. Nah.

        Unless I'm missing something.

        Also we'd be ignoring the actual history/symbolism of the flag.

        Sorry that may have come across as bad tempered. The coincidence is funny :-)
