But seriously, check out the head on hubbys homebrew. I decided it would make a fantastic first offering to the land spirits of my house, hubbys homebrew dark ale. Thing is, it comes out liquid, and as soon as it hits the ground, turns to gas.

Yes, so much head. To give you more of an idea about the epicness of this head, here's the beer I poured a few minutes ago.

Maybe you aussies are upside down haha, when i pour a beer i try to get as little head as possible. (only when pouring bear though )

So do I ya lil shit! That was control poured, horizontal straight down the sides of the glass. I used to pour beer for a living. This shit has epic head.

Never brewed my own...will you even be able to drink that?! Any ideas on what caused it?

I don't do mine either Kahl, hubby does!

And Dez, it does go down, you have to wait quite some time for it to settle, then pour a bit, settle, pour, settle, but you can get the whole bottle out. That's why I use a big glass,not save having to top it up. The last bit of head I will usually scrape into the sink, but it is good beer, and definitely worth the wait!

No idea what causes it though.

The beer tastes great! Head is a bit bitter, but the beer is really good. Come try some, before it's all gone!./ haha I'm on holidays for another week and a half!

My hubby loves the 'red Australian dirt' that we get in SA and the NT. He thinks it's so exotic.

But then... he also loves the look of the Adelaide Hills in the middle of summer when they're dry and brown and burnt to a crisp. Here I am loving the springtime green and he's like... 'it's not Australian when it's green'. lol
