Classic autumnal stuff either side, including a local festival, decorating, baking, gathering and foraging etc., plus my Samhain/Calan Gaeaf ritual which is very ancestor-focussed this year. I'm also going to my grandparents' gravesites and cleaning them up, lighting some candles.
I plan to do a ritual focused on ancestors. I also am going to hand out candy and watch scary movies.

Well, in the next week I'll be going around and drawing protection runes over each doorway and window. While the street itself that I live on is fine, very close by are some problem areas. As of yet, I've not experienced any issues, but one can never be too careful. In the past, my ex-wife was rather against my practices and so I was unable to do anything like this, but I'm trying to change my habit from NOT doing anything to DOING something more often.
ON Samhain itself, I'm not sure what I'm going to do. Probably sit around and be lazy, watching scary movies and gorging myself on candy.
Stir-fry with my dad and sister and their house, because they get more kids coming around. Plus I get to spend time with my cat and watch bad horror movies while drinking the best grasshopper (the green alcoholic beverage) ever.
I'm currently stuffing my face with orange and cherry slices. You know those jelly type wedge candies. Oh yeah.
