              You know it's winter here when it rains and rains and rains, and you actually want snow (despite your hatred of cold) just so it won't be so dark and grey outside.

              BTW I think most of you are insane. Where are the Australians? They're probably not looking because it's not winter for them right now.

                    Sandals are a perfectly valid foot garment in a desert, regardless of season. I always forget how cold deserts get

                        We're on the second snow of the season here and locked in the house cause the last snow was supposed to be 2 inches... it was 7.... this one is supposed to be significantly more... So lets see how much snow we get this time.

                              Under normal circumstances, so do I, but plantar fasciitis has thrown a wrench in my plans this winter. Which sucks because putting on tennis shoes while very pregnant is miserable.

                                I was only -3F (-19C) air temp this morning. But now it's 16F with a 5F (-15C) windchill. It's BALMY. Kidding, kidding. It sucks fiercely.
