    Cottage Witchcraft

So.... I've heard the term "Cottage Witch" but I've recently started researching and I think I may have found something that I'm suited to!

So does anyone here consider themselves a Cottage Witch or does anyone know of any good online resources or books that I could learn more about Cottage Witchcraft?

    I own this book: http://www.amazon.com/Cottage-Witche.../dp/0738706256

It's a nice book and one that survived the great pagan book purge of 2010. It's nice but all pretty basic stuff.

Now, I'm a weirdo. I call myself "hedge" because I am sort of on the fringe, straddling science and paganism, with a healthy dose of skepticism and pragmatism. However, the focus on the home and your surrounds that is the heart of what Cottage witchcraft really seems to be about does really appeal to me, even if I don't always follow the rule book.

Then I'm glad this is the book I ordered this morning

I think what is pulling me in is how I can bring magick into my home. So far, my magickal world and my mundane world have been completely disconnected. I felt like I had to keep it hidden. But now I'm starting to see that it doesn't have to be that way.

This book looks really amazing. There's so much involved and so many chapters. I am also trying to bring magick into my home. This has been added to my wish list on Amazon. Thanks guys!

Oh good it's on Kobo. Anyone read any of her other books?

Not yet. I have one of her books being shipped to me as we speak. It's about working with cats, learning their spirits, and just becoming closer to them magickally. I've heard she is a great author and reading her books is like having a conversation with her.

It's called The Enchanted Cat: Feline Fascinations, Spells and Magick.

That's why I love Kobo - cheaper, and I have it INSTANTLY!

But I will then go and buy a book if it turns out to be awesome. But a good way to test it out!

That's pretty convenient, but I love to actually hold a book and flip through the pages.

I definitely agree with you, but I live in the middle of nowhere, and tend to forget about things when I can't have them right away Plus I have my phone on me all the time, so I can read anywhere! If it's really good, I'll buy the book irl.
