Wasn't Hathor associated with drunkeness in Ancient Egypt? I know that beer was held sacred to Ancient Kemetics. I personally agree with that interpretation

Interesting that Kvasir isn't on that list, who was drained of his blood, to have it mixed with honey to create the mead of skaaldship, thus introducing poetry to mankind.
